About Me

Hi, I’m Leah

I’ve been a Designer and Photographer for over 12 years, working with both people and brands to capture their personalities through imagery.

How Did I Become a Norfolk Based Wedding Photographer?

I grew up in Hong Kong and returned to the UK when I was 18 to study Art & Design at Falmouth University. The next step was a move to Norwich to complete my Graphic Design degree. The fine city of Norwich captured my heart, and I now call Norfolk my home.

I’ve been drawn to photography since my school days spent in the depths of the 6th form dark room. As a freelance Graphic Designer, I always offer photography service. To bring out the true personality, I believe you need to step away from stock photography and embrace the undeniable impact of real photos.

After photographing an increasing number of events, I realised the joy of capturing real-life emotions and situations. A fellow Norfolk Wedding photographer then asked me to be a second shooter. Let’s just say that after that, the rest was history. I was hooked.

The Outdoor Life

Hong Kong, Falmouth and Norwich each gave me unique and exciting experiences and different perspectives to bring to my photography. But the constant theme from every step on my journey has been a love of outdoor life, being near the sea and exploring new places. With the beautiful historic city of Norwich on my doorstep and the stunning east coast within easy reach, I’m never short of places to explore with my lively spaniel, Otto. And with my trusty camera lens to hand, the gorgeous British outdoors is my favourite place for photographic inspiration.

Capturing Your Special Day – Your Way

When it comes to photography, I believe nothing beats catching those special moments in your life, whether it’s your wedding day or simply celebrating with good friends.

But there is something magical about a wedding day. Flashes of sentimental detail and moments of meaning are everywhere. The emotions of the day inspire me every time, and it’s an honour and privilege to be there to capture your special moments and document the story of two people in love.

Genuine and Relaxed Moments

Although I love to take photos, I feel uncomfortable having my picture taken. If you do too, don’t worry; my approach is to avoid posed photos. Not only does this capture genuine moments, but it reduces that rabbit in the headlights feeling that many people dread. And when it comes to the couple shots, I have a few tricks up my sleeve to keep you relaxed.

Your day is all about you and the people you share it with. I would love to tell your story…

Warm Regards

Leah
